Made on Earth Show RSVP

"Made on Earth" is a solo art exhibition showcasing the work of contemporary artist, muralist, designer, and illustrator Kari Blak, alongside his brand, Petalhead. This exhibition delves into the unique universe Kari has created, utilizing character and storytelling to address a variety of pressing environmental issues, including sea level rise, flooding, habitat loss, plastic pollution, and wildfires. Through a captivating series, Kari introduces audiences to his main characters: Taru, a flower, and Miel, a bumblebee. These figures invite viewers into their world and foster important dialogue about the urgent climate crisis we face. The exhibition features three distinct design series, Petalhead’s first 3D figure, and a new T-shirt, among other works. The show opens to the public July 24th, 6:00pm at Cherry Mountain Arts, 400 S.
