Mission
At petalhead, our mission is to raise awareness about the impact humans have on nature and highlight the communities and species that are most affected. We believe in the power of storytelling through clothing, art figures, and lifestyle products. By incorporating character design and world-building into our creations, we aim to craft narratives that illuminate the pressing issues facing our environment today. Join us in our journey to foster a deeper connection with the natural world and inspire positive change.

Story
Our story began in 2020 conceptualized and founded by visual artist Kari Blak. Working primarily as a muralist, illustrator and designer, he has over a decade of experience in character design and world building. With a strong emphasis on environmental and ecological issues weaved throughout his work, he pulls inspiration from the many French, Japanese and American animation styles that shaped his early imagination. Kari uses these influences to personify and delve into the contemporary themes surrounding humans and nature. Our leadership team consists of experienced in-house design professionals, illustrators, 3D artists, sustainability researchers, and creative writers. Who all passionate about our mission and are committed to creating a positive impact on the world. Through the mediums of design, products and goods we aim to foster a new love and appreciation for our planet.

“Small Steps”
In efforts to minimize our impact on the planet and foster sustainable practices, we’re happy to introduce our small steps initiative: to plant a flower for every product purchased. Due to several reasons, such as the use of pesticides and habitat loss, the world's pollinator populations are rapidly declining. Planting native flowers among other plants is essential for making sure that local ecosystems and pollinators, such as bees and butterflies, are healthy. We believe that small steps can lead to significant change, and through this initiative, we hope to inspire our community to join us in cultivating a greener future – one flower at a time.
